The Isabella Rose Romano Foundation, Inc. was founded in loving memory of Isabella Rose Romano, a 7 year old girl who lost her life to cancer after a 21 month battle with an inoperable thalamic brain tumor.
A key priority of our foundation is to help fund research for new therapy options and raise awareness toward pediatric brain cancer.
We hope to bring light to Bella's unique bravery and joy for life by continuing her fight towards a cure for Pediatric Brain Tumors.
The Isabella Rose Romano Foundation, Inc. is a proud supporter of the Children's Brain Tumor Project. Bella's picture can be seen displayed in their lab, which serves as a reminder to why their continued research remains essential to helping children like Bella.
Would you like to know more about the meaning behind the foundation logo and who created it?
The logo is intended to be a reflection of our mission: "Sharing Peace through friendship, Creating Awareness, and Fighting for a Cure" in memory of our Angel. It was created by our friend, graphic designer William Gramigna of Press Proof Studio, Inc. in Norwalk, CT. When we approached Bill to create the logo, we had asked him to create something that is reflective of our Angel. Our vision was to include her favorite colors (pink and purple), a grey ribbon for brain cancer awareness, the color gold for pediatric cancer awareness, and a rose that is symbolic of both Bella's middle name and the sign of peace, which a rose is commonly known for. We were truly delighted and touched by how well he captured everything we asked for and exceeded our expectations by creating this stunningly beautiful logo for us.
